I carry out a broad research in both materials science and condensed matter physics. My research includes ultra-pure cuprates and pnictides crystal growth, ultra-long semiconductor nanowire growth, materials design for novel superconductor and topological insulator and their hybrid, engineering of vortex-pinning for ultrahigh critical current density in high-Tc superconductors, low temperature transport measurement in high fields, quantum oscillation measurements, weak magnetic signal recovery, and emerging low dimensional electron gas.
