I received a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame in 2014, and subsequently joined the Applied Physics PhD program at Northwestern. While at Northwestern I worked in condensed matter physics with Professor Kenjiro Gomes. I’m co-advised by Professor Kanatzidis and Professor Wessels in Materials Science on the Gamma Ray Detector project. I’m involved in both the crystal growth and characterization of candidate materials, including the perovskite halides.
