Research

I joined Professor Kanatzidis group in September 2015. I am a joint post doc with Professor Weiss group. Myresearch interests include synthesis of nanocrystals, study of their properties, their surface modification, and their possible application. Right now, I’m working with cesium lead halide perovskite nanocrystals. They have high quantum yield, tunable bandgap, and colloidal stability in low boiling point organic solvents. However, their solutions also have long carbon chain ligands and residual high-boiling solvent. Their removal is essential to the future application of these particles.
