My research projects in the group focus on the structural characterization of layered distorted chalcogenide materials that possess usually incommensurate modulated superstructures. I use a variety of non-classical scattering characterization techniques like multidimensional (superspace) crystallography and Pair Distribution Function Analysis, (PDF)
I started my Ph.D at Michigan State University in September of 2002 after finishing my B.S. at the Chemistry department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2001) and my M.S. at the Solid State Physics department (2002).
