Profile

I joined the group in 2024 as a Fulbright Nehru post-doctoral researcher. I am co-advised by Prof. Mercouri G. Kanatzidis and Prof. Richard Schaller. My research deals with study of optical properties of chalcohalides and lead-free perovskite nanocrystals. During my PhD, I worked on designing doped quantum dots and perovskite nanocrystals for optoelectronic applications. During my post-doc as a DFG Walter Benjamin fellow at the University of Duisburg Essen, Germany I worked on the magneto optical spectroscopy of single perovskite nanocrystals and optical properties of monolayer 2D antiferromagnetic crystals.
