I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2022 with a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering. There, I worked with Dr. Kevin Daniels to synthesize a variety of transition metal dichalcogenides using chemical vapor deposition techniques. I simultaneously worked with Dr. Gary Rubloff on the development and characterization of solid state batteries. Now at Northwestern, I am coadvised by Dr. Kanatzidis and Dr. Dravid in Materials Science and Engineering. My research involves the synthesis of metal sulfide ion exchangers for deployment as environmental remediation platforms; then, using Electron Microscopy techniques, I characterize these systems to correlate macroscale performance to nanoscale phenomena.
