I joined the Kanatzidis Group as a postdoctoral fellow in November 2024. My research focuses on the exploratory synthesis of novel metal sulfide ion-exchanging materials, primarily for water remediation. During my Ph.D., under the supervision of Professor Manolis J. Manos, I worked on the isolation and characterization of new metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and their post-synthetically modified analogues, demonstrating sorption and sensing properties for heavy metal ions and lipophilic pollutants in aqueous media.
