I graduated from the University of North Florida in 2014 receiving a B.S. in Chemistry and Physics. Under the direction of Dr. Lufaso, I researched the phase equilibria of the ternary system containing oxides of bismuth, manganese, and tin. I extensively characterized manganese-doped pyrochlore compounds through various electrical and structural techniques. I will work on exploratory synthesis of chalcogenide compounds that could be potential nonlinear optical materials.
