Research

I joined the Kanatzidis Group as a post doctoral research fellow on December 2013. My project involves the growth of heavy metal chalcogenides and chalcohalides single crystals with large size and high quality; evaluation of their potential applications in heavy ray detection.
My research in FJIRSM was mainly focused on the growth of wide-bandgap semiconductors (ZnO, CuI, GaN) single crystals, ZnO based superfast scintillator and photo-electronic devices .
