I joined Professor
Kanatzidis group as a postdoctoral fellow in May 2007. I am currently
working on synthesis and characterization of thermoelectric relevant
binary, ternary and quaternary nanoparticles. I am also working on the
use of these nanoparticles for thin film preparation as well as ordered
lithographic patterning to make nanoparticle arrays for sensing, photovoltaics
and thermoelectric applications.
During Ph.D.
studies at Wayne State University, I worked on the synthesis and assembly
of semiconducting nanoparticles (PbS, CdSe, CdS, ZnS and ZnS@CdSe) into
porous nanostructured gels and aerogels under the supervision of Professor
Stephanie L. Brock.
