Research

I joined the Kanatzidis Group as a Post-doctoral fellow in December 2016. My project involves the exploratory synthesis of hybrid perovskite compounds that can be efficiently used in electronic and optoelectronic applications (solid state solar cells, LEDs, photodetectors). Former research at University of Crete was based on the development of novel Metal Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for gas storage and separation applications. It involved organic and inorganic synthesis, characterization of the resulting crystalline materials, followed by extensive gas sorption studies.
