Former Undergraduate Students

Caitlin Sullivan, Undergraduate Student, NSF REU Program
Caitlin worked in the Van Duyne lab over the summer of 98 on a project leading towards the production of large perfect area PPA formations made with various deposition metals. She participated in the NSF REU program sponsored by the Northwestern University Material Research Science and Engineering Center.  Caitlin is currently a senior chemistry major at the University of Indiana, Bloomington.

Emily Smith
Emily graduated from NU in the spring of 1998 and moved to Pennsylvania State University to work in the Natan group. While working in our group, her efforts focused on increasing the practical applications of PPAs.
