    Research

    I am working on the Exploratory Synthesis of new Metal Chalcogenide systems, mainly chalcophosphates. This class of compounds is important for their structural diversities as well as applications like crystal-glass phase transition materials used in media storage industry, non-linear optic (NLO) materials etc. My current goal of research is to synthesize new metal chalcogenide materials having important phase-change and NLO properties.
